A flagship hotel for a prestigious international chain : Ramada International Hotels and main contractor Kier Southern : Construction of a new Ramada Encore hotel at Gypsy Corner, West London. : When it was completed in late 2003, the Ramada Encore was a brand new design concept, offering 150 en-suite, air conditioned rooms above public areas which include restaurants, meeting rooms and bars. Beneath the hotel is an underground car park. Lancsville delivered the reinforced concrete substructure, superstructure and external building works. : As Lancsville was responsible for the fundamental structural work, there was a lot of pressure to deliver quickly, enabling the main contractors to move into subsequent building phases. The car park formed part of the main structural concrete frame. : Lancsville planned and scheduled accurately, in close consultation with the main contractor.
